the National Three Peaks Challenge

Dear everyone,

On 12^th July my team (Kevan Taylor, Brigid Macdonald, John Howard) and I (“Team LTA” – corny, I know!!!) will attempt to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge. The Challenge is a mountain endurance test which consists of climbing the three highest peaks of the UK in less than 24 hours. The mountains to be climbed are Ben Nevis in Western Scotland (1344m), Scafell Pike in North-Western England (978m) and Snowdon in North Wales (1085m).

We’re aiming to raise £3500 for Greenhouse Schools Project. Greenhouse Schools Project is a charity that uses sports programmes to teach 11-16 year olds life and social skills. They especially target children who are experiencing difficulties with learning and behaviour or who are living with a disability.
