Job Description

England Hockey are seeking to appoint a Regional Officer to join our forward thinking Development Team. With the implementation of the new Single System for hockey, England hosting the European Nations Hockey Championships in 2007, London 2012 on the horizon, and a Board of Directors who are committed to the development of the sport, this is a very exciting time to join England Hockey.

THE ROLE

• The Regional Officer post is key in providing support to the Regional Development Manager in delivering the hockey strategy “Uniting the Hockey Family”.
• The post is part of the England Hockey Development Team that includes 24 staff based in the 5 hockey regions and 4 staff at head office.

Reporting directly to the Regional Development Manager (RDM), the successful applicant will:

• Be responsible for supporting the RDM in managing the delivery of the England Hockey strategic aims and objectives within the region
• Manage the implementation of specific projects at regional level
• Support the RDM in providing the liaison between the National Governing Body and the Regional and County volunteer network
