Events Manager |
The International Cricket Council isthe global governing body for the Sport and part of our mission is to optimize commercial opportunities for the benefit of the game. With this in mind we are looking for someone to oversee the delivery and logistical aspects of ICC events and manage a team of Events staff . The role will be based at our headquarters in Dubai.
The role will include:
- Overseeing the event operation plan
- Providing the host nation with any necessary guidelines for the ICC cricket events
- Liaising with the Commercial Lawyer, Sponsorship and Marketing Manager and Media Rights Manager
- Overseeing the Host in the delivery of on ground logistic arrangements for ICC cricket events
- Overseeing the Host in the delivery of the on ground commercial platform for ICC cricket Events
- Overseeing the ICC implementation requirements within the Host Agreement for ICC cricket events
- Overseeing the ICC implementation requirements within the Participating Nation Agreements for ICC cricket events
- Acting as a central reference between ICC, the host board and participating nations as required
The person will need to have the following:
- Experience of Event Management
- Good project management skills
- Good commercial knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good proble m solving ability
- Enthusiastic and able to work creatively on own initiative
- Experience of working with different cultures
- Able to operate overseas for significant periods of time
- Experience of managing a team
