Yorkshire CCC - Marketing Manager

The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is looking for a Marketing Manager.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the role of Marketing Manager will work closely with all key stakeholders to design and coordinate an integrated marketing strategy for The Yorkshire County Cricket Club across all levels of the game. You must consider all available distribution platforms and mediums to maximise the game’s exposure and appeal.

The role will also include a strong element of new media responsibility, with the successful candidate assisting with the development and implementation of Yorkshire's proposed Video on Demand service. You will also develop and implement an online strategy that offers a good blend of consumer/sponsor information and commercial revenue opportunities.

How very interesting that they are looking at developing a more sophisticated on line offering including video - from the reserach i did over the summer this seems further evidence of cricket getting more attuned towards the possibilities of the internet and web based marketing. Also noteworthy is their emphasis on on line opportunities to develop sponsorship and other commercial opportunities- cricket is relatively poor at this so far outside of central activities under the ECB.
